Britt has technical expertise within physics, mechanics, materials science, magnetic materials, nanotechnology, software and characterization methods for experimental physics.

She holds an M.Sc. degree in Physics from the University of Copenhagen and a Ph.D. in experimental physics from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Before entering the IP profession, Britt simulated neutron scattering instruments as a post.doc. at DTU in collaboration with the large-scale facility ESS in Lund, Sweden, and has also taught physics and math at gymnasiums.

Britt started working as a patent attorney in 2016 and during her years working in that role Britt has drafted and prosecuted patent applications, pre-screened possible new inventions, performed Freedom-to-Operate analyses and advised clients on a variety of IP topics.

Britt joined Guardian IP Consulting as an IP consultant in April 2019.
